What was the highlight of Hotel dei Congressi

This was the last hotel on our 4 month stay in Europe and one of our favorites. Great staff&food.

The Hotel Congressi has been a favorite of ours for years, staff, location, food and comfort are all top notch. My husband has attended many academic conferences here over the years and has brought many student groups to stay as well. The unique location makes the Congressi good for local train travel north to Naples or south to Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. The rooms are clean and spacious and food is 1st class. Breakfasts are buffet style with multiple selections and the cappuccinos flow freely. We will continue to support this lovely hotel for years to come.

In early December the outdoor pool was closed for the season, as it should have been, lovely in summer.

Great area and hotel, staff are lovely.

Nice hotel and staff were great. Clean, and the rooms were decent. Pool was exceptional and my family loved it here. Sould stay again.

Cost of drinks and food. Parking can be a bother.

Great base for a holiday to either stay and relax or go out and about exploring. Highly recommend

All the staff were friendly and polite, the rooms were a good size and clean, the food was nice, and the pool was a good size. The rooftop bar had some lovely views and the pool area is perfect for getting a tan. A ten minute walk and you are into the main town which has a train that runs to Sorrento in about 25minutes.

The roof top area / bar is beautiful. The scenery is amazing .. you can site at one side and see the mountains or the other and see the ocean ️

The walk up was steep but short so we had no problem with our backpacks ️

The facilities were fantastic, the pool was lovely, room was fabulous with a large balcony, great breakfast and the rooftop bar and views were incredible. A great value hotel with exceptional views, staff and facilities.

Great hotel to get to Amalfi coast.

The rooms were great and spacious, the food is excelent in the pizzaria and in the the pool bar, good breakfast, hotel very well located, great to have free parking, employees always very nice. Good rooftop bar. I would recommend it.

The hotel was great but is in need of some repairs here and there, althought nothing to problematic.

Big rooms, majority of the staff are friendly, new bathroom, clean, mattress was hard, however the front desk staff provided us with mattress topper and it was more comfortable.

The swimming pool was very nice with a great view but they close too early for a hot summer night

The hotel was expensive and the facilities were a bit old but classy. It has a nice terrace but not much happening there nor service

Wonderful

The pizzeria outside was beautiful! The roof top bar had the most stunning view of mount Vesuvius and was a lovely setting for sunset. Overall very clean and relaxing and perfectly located to visit Sorrento, Naples and Pompei for day trips via train while still being reasonably priced!

Good

Outlook was beautiful and wonderful views from the top floor bar. Pool area was lovely. Hotel is 4* but I would say Italian style, well kept but becoming dated. 3.5 stars maybe, good value for money for what's available. things offered on site and in hotel book not actually available - no hotel beach that we were aware of, don't do washing clothes or room service as offered. Nice hotel for price and only 20/25mins on train to Sorrento, which is much nicer town than Castallemmare. Note up a hill if pulling luggage but lift to get up to hotel from entrance.

We had ants in the bathroom but this can happen often in this area of Italy. the cleaning staff came and killed them and cleaned but could have been better attended to. Some lovely staff but also some unhelpful and rude staff (slight cultural difference also in how they interact at times - can come across blunt and rude)

Late arrival, greeted, check-in and smoothly to my well maintained and clean room. Although travelling for work over pleasure the facilities and staff made the quick stop over restful. Great breakfast, great staff, comfortable bed, clean.

An excellent hotel that could be improved with a small effort.

The location and design of the hotel are excellent. The breakfast was good.

The quality of some articles of the breakfast (orange juice) should be improved. The service (attention and professionalism of waiters) should be improved. Some details in the rooms need more maintenance.

Wonderful

The Rooftop Lounge and Bar was a great surprise.Excellent vibe and views. A special thanks to the Manager Salvatore who was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was also very nice although it got pretty crowded with kids during the day.
